We have a strong reputation for serving high quality, fresh, home cooked food, using locally sourced produce where possible and our Head Chef Stuart Swales and his team pride themselves in providing a menu that will excite and suit all tastes. We always have a great choice of traditional pub classics on offer alongside our authentic home smoked BBQ meats, signature gourmet burgers and changing daily specials.

Our children’s menu is designed by children for children whilst incorporating healthier choices to keep parents happy too.

We are proud to provide freshly cooked menus to our own recipes and will only ever serve food that we would be happy to eat ourselves. As a quality food pub, we strive to provide value for money through the taste, presentation and quality of the meals we serve. We aim to deliver all of this with personable service and a pleasurable atmosphere.

Provenance is key to our values as a business and in the dishes we create for you. We source the majority of our produce from local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint, support local businesses and ensure traceability of the ingredients.

We source most of our produce from local suppliers to ensure traceability of the ingredients for our popular menus and everything is cooked fresh to order. Here at The Halfway House, our meat is purchased from JP Leadbeater & Son in Haworth.

Our fresh vegetables and fruit come from Threshfield in Guiseley and Desserts from Just Desserts in Shipley.

At the bar we have local bitters on tap from Baildon Brewing Company and Black Sheep Brewery.
